Fortnite Festival has entered a new season with exciting updates for its players. The Festival Pass has been revamped to align more closely with event passes like the Avatar Elements pass. This means that purchasing the premium Festival Pass for 1800 V-Bucks will now instantly unlock a skin for the featured artist of the season. In the case of Season 3, players can get their hands on the Green Roots Billie skin. Additionally, players have the opportunity to earn an exclusive style for the skin by progressing through the pass.

The introduction of a bonus style for the Festival Pass marks a significant shift in the way these passes operate. While Epic Games has typically reserved the right to sell pass cosmetics in the item shop later on, the Ultraviolet style of the Green Roots Billie skin will only ever be available through the Season 3 Festival Pass. This move adds an element of exclusivity to the pass and gives players more incentive to participate in the seasonal festivities.

Players can advance through the Season 3 Festival Pass by completing Festival quests while playing the game. Those who opt for the free track of rewards will receive four jam tracks and the Lavatronik Bass as the ultimate reward. On the other hand, players who upgrade to the premium track will unlock the new Billie Eilish-themed keytar and mic stand, along with four additional jam tracks and a variety of other cosmetics to customize their in-game experience.

The new jam tracks featured on the premium track of the Festival pass include popular songs like “Oxytocin” by Billie Eilish, “Friday I’m In Love” by The Cure, “Youngblood” by 5 Seconds of Summer, and “Maps” by Maroon 5. These tracks add a musical element to the gameplay and allow players to enjoy a diverse selection of tunes while completing quests and challenges.

As the headliner of Season 3, Billie Eilish brings her unique style and music to Fortnite Festival. Unlike previous headliners, Eilish currently only has one skin available through the Festival pass. However, Epic Games has hinted at the release of a new Item Shop skin for Eilish later in the season, coinciding with her upcoming album launch. In addition to the Festival pass rewards, players can also purchase Eilish’s new jam tracks and emotes in the item shop.

The new emotes, “bad guy” and “you should see me in a crown,” along with Eilish’s distinct music, add a fresh and contemporary vibe to Fortnite Festival. Players can immerse themselves in the world of Billie Eilish and showcase their fandom through in-game purchases and interactions.

One of the most significant updates in Season 3 of Fortnite Festival is the introduction of support for guitar controllers. Players can now use three different guitar controllers – the Rock Band 4 Fender Stratocaster, the Rock Band 4 Fender Jaguar, and the new PDP Riffmaster R controller. These controllers come with separate guitar and bass charts for each song, as well as their own leaderboards.

The inclusion of guitar controllers opens up new possibilities for players who prefer a more immersive and realistic gaming experience. With the promise of additional instrument controller support in the near future, Fortnite Festival continues to evolve and adapt to the preferences of its player base.

Season 3 of Fortnite Festival brings a host of exciting changes and additions that cater to the diverse interests of its players. From the revamped Festival Pass to the introduction of guitar controller support, the new season offers a fresh and engaging experience for fans of the popular game. As the festival continues to grow and evolve, players can look forward to more updates and surprises in the future.
