Bandai Namco, the publisher of Elden Ring, has recently announced an exciting video contest for fans of the game. The top prize for this contest is a massive 10-foot statue of Messmer the Impaler, a boss that will be introduced in the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

The rules of the video contest are simple and straightforward. From today until June 2, players, also known as Tarnished, are encouraged to share their most cherished memories in the Lands Between through video clips. Anything and everything captured in the game is eligible to win a prize. The videos will be sorted into different categories such as Best Comedy, Best Use of Sound, Best Armor Design, and Most Original Use of Elden Ring. Winners of these categories will receive various prizes like a replica Messmer the Impaler’s helmet or a life-size replica of the Arm of Malenia.

The ultimate prize, however, goes to the winner of the Best Trailer category. The grand prize for this category is a true-to-game replica of the entire Messmer the Impaler boss, standing tall at an impressive 10 feet. Just imagine receiving a package of that size at your front door. It raises the question of where one would even keep such a massive statue.

Messmer the Impaler is one of the ten bosses that will be added to Elden Ring in the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This expansion is set to release on June 21, across various gaming platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The introduction of new bosses and content adds to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the game’s upcoming expansion.

The Elden Ring video contest organized by Bandai Namco offers players a unique opportunity to showcase their creativity and skills in the game. The chance to win a 10-foot statue of Messmer the Impaler is an enticing reward for dedicated fans of the game. With the deadline for submissions approaching, players are encouraged to participate and share their most memorable moments in the Lands Between. The anticipation for the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion continues to grow, and the addition of new bosses like Messmer the Impaler only adds to the excitement for the future of Elden Ring.
