After almost a year-long hiatus, the fighting game MultiVersus is set to make a comeback next week. The decision to remove the game from sale and shut down its servers came after players had already invested their real money into unlocking various in-game items, only to be left in the dark. However, the developers are now looking to make amends by offering a freebie to those who participated in MultiVersus’ beta phase.

A Generous Offer for Beta Players

Player First Games has announced that beta players will have the opportunity to access the game’s first season premium battle pass without having to spend a single penny. This means that players can unlock Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, a highly sought-after character, for free. Additionally, the number of valuable items in both the free and premium passes has been increased to ensure that players get their money’s worth.

In a similar fashion to Fortnite, progressing through MultiVersus’ battle pass will reward players with enough in-game currency to cover the cost of the next pass. This ensures that players only need to make a one-time investment to continue unlocking new content over the eight-week season. Beta players will also receive exclusive rewards such as a costume for Adventure Time’s Finn the Human and a special ringout animation.

Fans of Adventure Time will be pleased to know that the Banana Guard will be introduced as a playable character in MultiVersus. By completing a seven-day tutorial track, players can unlock this unique character and even earn a special edition variant known as Lady Banana Guard. Additionally, beta players will have the option to switch their announcer to a Banana Guard voice pack, adding a fun twist to the game.

To claim these rewards, players must log in to the free-to-play game between May 28th and June 11th. Based on previous experiences with MultiVersus, the game shows great potential as a competitive PC fighter, especially for fans of Warner Bros IP. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, the upcoming changes promise an exciting new chapter for MultiVersus.

The return of MultiVersus marks a fresh start for the game, offering players a chance to jump back into the action with exciting rewards and incentives. With a renewed focus on player satisfaction and engagement, the developers are working hard to deliver a rewarding experience for fans of the fighting genre. As the game prepares to relaunch next week, anticipation is high for what lies ahead in this new chapter of MultiVersus.
