The source of the rumour, Club386, claims to have spoken with an unnamed individual at Computex who revealed AMD’s plans to introduce 3D V-cache equipped versions of the new Ryzen 9000 processors in September. While AMD did not confirm any specific release dates during the event, it did mention actively working on enhancements to provide even better performance.
If the rumours turn out to be true, a three-month gap between the CPU architecture announcement and the introduction of X3D variants would be a relatively short timeline for AMD.
