The upcoming beta for Concord is generating a lot of buzz in the gaming community. With two separate sessions scheduled, players have the opportunity to get a taste of what the game has to offer. The Early Access weekend is set to take place from July 12-14, followed by the Open Beta weekend from July 18-21. To participate in the Early Access beta, players must pre-order the game through various platforms such as the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Direct, Epic Games Store, or Steam. This will grant them access to the beta, along with codes for four friends to join in on the fun. Pre-loading is also available for the Early Access Beta on PS5, allowing players to jump right into the action as soon as it launches.

One of the most exciting aspects of the Concord beta is the inclusion of crossplay functionality. This means that players on PS5 and PC can team up and battle it out together. However, players on PC will need a PSN account to access the game if they don’t already have one. Progress from the Early Access Beta will carry over to the Open Beta, giving players a head start in mastering the game before its official release on August 23. It’s important to note that beta progress will not transfer to the full game, so players will need to start fresh when the game officially launches.

With a roster of 16 unique characters, or Freegunners as they’re known in the game, players will have the opportunity to test out each one and find the perfect match for their playstyle. Characters such as 1-0ff, Bazz, Duchess, and Vale offer a diverse range of abilities and playstyles for players to explore. The full release of the game will feature 12 unique maps across various settings, along with six team-based game modes. During the beta, players can expect to try out maps like Freewater, Shock Risk, and Star Chamber, as well as game modes like Cargo Run, Clash Point, and Trophy Hunt.

Beta testers will be rewarded with the Lil’ Frog weapon charm and the Star Flare Business Card as a token of appreciation for their participation. Additionally, the developers have promised regular free updates for all players post-launch, ensuring that the game will continue to evolve and provide new experiences for its community. The beta serves as a glimpse into the world of Concord, offering players a chance to dive into the action early and become part of the game’s growing community.

The Concord beta presents an exciting opportunity for players to get a sneak peek at what promises to be a thrilling hero shooter experience. With a diverse character roster, varied maps, and engaging game modes, Concord is shaping up to be a must-play title for fans of the genre. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new to the world of hero shooters, the Concord beta is sure to offer something for everyone.
