Godzilla Minus One, the successful box office hit, has now made its way to various digital streaming services. Amazon Prime Video is one platform where you can rent the film for $6 or purchase it for $15 to add to your permanent library. The rental period allows you to watch the film for 48 hours once you start or for 30 days after purchase. Additionally, Amazon offers a black-and-white version of Godzilla Minus One, paying tribute to the original Godzilla movie and specially formatted by the film’s colorist.

For Netflix subscribers, Godzilla Minus One is available as a surprise release on the platform. Currently, only the regular version of the film can be streamed on Netflix, but the black-and-white special edition is set to be added later this summer. The latest Godzilla film rebooted Japan’s iconic character as a force of nature, incorporating elements of war, family, and redemption. Unlike the version seen in Legendary’s Monsterverse, Godzilla Minus One portrays the kaiju as an unstoppable and unkillable entity capable of massive destruction.

Godzilla Minus One garnered significant attention upon its release last year, eventually winning the Best Visual Effects Oscar. The storyline follows a civilian force comprising former soldiers and volunteers tasked with stopping Godzilla’s rampage following Japan’s isolation after World War 2. The film presents Godzilla as a walking extinction event, with the power to annihilate cities within minutes or obliterate armies with its heat ray. The unique portrayal of Godzilla as an uncontrollable and devastating force sets this film apart from previous interpretations.

In addition to the availability of Godzilla Minus One on streaming services, fans of the Monsterverse can also preorder a special 4K UHD collection featuring Godzilla’s and Kong’s recent film appearances. This collection includes all five movies, culminating in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, packaged in a special-edition slipcase depicting Godzilla, Kong, and other titans in battle. Along with the physical release, buyers will receive digital copies of each film. The collection is set to release on June 25 and can be preordered for $100. This special edition offers fans an immersive experience with high-quality visuals and bonus content.
